I would if I could play through games that are outdated :/ I can’t get past the graphics, engine, etc. That’s the only reason I haven’t played through Morrowind or Oblivion.

you should and if you are playing on PC here is a fix just in case it keeps crashing :) http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthr…

How much is FO3 on steam?

Broke out my 360 to play through New Vegas. Played all the way through with a unarmed build...
From now on I’m making unarmed my primary way of fighting. Punching a deathclaw to death feels so sweet after years of taking panicked sniper shots only to be slapped to death by those monsters.

Melee feels really clunky too me.

I would like to do this. I usually snipe em with rockets and some sniper rifles.

I meant unarmed. Yeah Melee is too clunky where as unarmed is usually a one hit KO with the crazy gauntlets you get later.

I never stop playing. I’ve modded the hell out of Fallout 3 and Fallout: NV.
If you’re looking for a great time in 3, install the Mothership Zeta Crew mod.

Thanks! I’m hoping to pick it up along with New Vegas.

I highly recommend trying it. It makes a massive change from the normal formula.

For maximum fun, you need to one-hand FO and FO2. See below:

Morrowind I can understand, I couldn’t get into it at all, but you’re missing out not playing Oblivion.

I pretty much do a playthrough of New Vegas in between every other game I play.

After playing New Vegas for like, 300 hours, the lack of Iron sights on weapons in F03 drives me INSANE

Your really missing out on Oblivion. Sure the game is ugly (well the game looks fine, the character models do not) it’s a ton of fun. So much to do.

Playing NV again!

I liked Morrowind a lot more than Oblivion. Oblivion felt way too grindy, and some of the quest lines were pretty weak.
Graphically though, I think Oblivion is fine. It’s not pretty by today’s standards, but it is definitely playable. Some mods to make it look better on PC:
DarnifiedUI - Makes the interface way better on PC
Better Cities - Some of these are overdone (I skip most of the new Imperial City areas), but on the whole, it makes the cities feel much more detailed/less dead.
Natural Environments - Spruce up the outdoor areas (though the additional grass can make it hard to find dropped weapons).
Younger Hotter NPCs - Sounds a bit vulgar but really just tweaks the faces to be younger (Oblivion’s aging gives horrible wrinkles that make people who are supposed to be in their 30s appear to be over 100).

Steam sale starts tomorrow, I’d be surprised if wasn’t available for $10 or less at some point during the sale.

Very close to finishing 3, after having been chased away twice before by frequent crashing. Have owned NV for years, but have been waiting to finish 3. Will probably make a go at it sometime before 4 comes out.

If you have a PC and F3, New Vegas, and all story DLC (Op. Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, Mothership Zeta, etc), there’s a mod that lets you play both F3 and NV in the same playthrough, with the ability to switch wastelands anytime. I love it since it lets me play F3 with NV’s updated gameplay mechanics (ADS, ammo smithing, companion wheel, the rest).
The link is here: A Tale of Two Wastelands

I’ve never played New Vegas, so I’m planning on finishing that before Fallout 4 comes out. Fallout 3 is soooooo good.
